I saw kangaroos at dawn, rising above the cold winter fog, as I drove past the oval on my way to care for cats – six in all, this morning.
I experienced the alivest of frictions riding the train into the city with my husband – we were on the same side albeit in different ways, and those we were not on the same side with, I would have liked to be on the same side with, but they were not equipped for it. Still, it was an incredibly thought (and emotion) provoking encounter and I don’t regret experiencing it.
In the city we had lunch with loved friends at a loved restaurant, after which we watched an excellent theatre show at an excellent venue.
In the evening we spoke with both my parents, and I felt nourished by the loving conversations and their improving health. I also embarked on a spontaneous shape finding challenge with my father, and was delighted at his willing indulgence – he looked for circles and I looked for squares. We both found some good ones.
Afterwards, I looked for triangles with her who was my original shape finding buddy. As she has done before, she did again, sending me a full on art gallery of triangles from her home and garden. We delight in life together and tonight we delighted in reflections on mirrors and images shared between us and the divine. As always with fascinating insights and many laughs.
I also discovered this – a ray of LIGHT (at least the way it’s presented, and I truly hope this place is as much a place of love and happiness for their cows as their website would suggest!). I did not anticipate that I would find a way this week to switch to more ethical milk consumption, but here we are. I hope to visit one of their Melbourne stockists tomorrow to figure out next steps.
